Global Garments for Good aims to serve rural communities in India, by providing free, quality clothing for families. This also reduces clothing waste in America by allowing Indian Americans to reuse their ethnic wear sustainably. Our top priority is restoring hope.
WHAT WE DO
Making Change Possible
Global Garments for Good is a registered non-profit organization. We arrange clothing drives around Colorado to collect new and gently used ethnic wear from Southeast Asian communities. We then methodically pack and ship these clothes to rural Indian communities in need. Additionally, we host several money-earning events to cover the cost of supplies, storage, international shipping, and website maintenance.

We are heavily dependent on volunteers like you! Our volunteers help us efficiently sort and pack all our donations so we can ship swiftly and frequently, ensuring that the needs of the communities we serve are met. Also, we rely on you for monetary help to continue this operation successfully.

WAYS WE HELP
The Focus of Our Efforts
PARTNERING WITH HELPP
HELPP is a non-profit organization centered in Kolkata, India that has the "sole purpose of bringing a change to the lives of the underprivileged kids and their struggling families with a long-term solution". Currently, they have three centers in India: Kolkata, Jhargram, and Sundarban, taking care of almost 400 underprivileged children and their families.

Now we send our clothing shipments to this organization in order to serve this kids. We aim to expand our donation network to include more non-profit organizations in India. To learn more about HELPP and their mission, take a look at their website here.
EMPOWERING LOCAL COMMUNITIES
We provide volunteering opportunities for young members of our community, to enable them to make a real, global difference. By volunteering with our non-profit organization, students can earn volunteer service hours for their club, school, or university.
RAISING AWARENESS
By hosting various events and drives, throughout the year, we educate the public about poverty in India and show them ways to help, like using our donation system.
